Seda Solubles, the company from Palencia, is since 1963 producing instant coffee and similar products, that it complements with the production of cereal bars and muesli. In these last years, Seda Solubles has settled down in the European market of MDD (distribution brand) and of Food Service, and has started its expansion out of the European continent.

The group has specialized itself in the production of products under distribution brands, establishing commercial agreements with local companies. This is how Seda has establishes itself in the international market: first of all in Portugal and France, then in the United Kingdom (Alliance Coffee Company) and Interseda in Russia (where it established a bottling factory). Its last raid abroad, in 2006, meant an alliance with the Canadian company Mother Parkers, one of the leader companies in North America, with more than 65.000 tons of coffee sold in 2008. The range of Seda Solubles products is adapted to the vending and Horeca channels, both in its formats and in its bottles. Furthermore, it is endorsed by various international quality certificates, as well as by the Fair Trade Foundation, Rainforest Alliance and UTZ, for the purchase of Fair Trade products.

Seda Solubles mixes its commercial activity with solidarity, since it is one of the founders of CAFÉMUNDI, a nonprofit foundation that develops and establishes social sustainability projects in countries that produce coffee.
